TIG Aesthetics QD Hose Kit – Ultra-Light Argon Delivery System
The TIG Aesthetics Quick Disconnect (QD) Hose Kit is a purpose-built argon delivery system engineered for fabricators who demand efficiency, reliability, and contamination-free welding. Designed to be ultra lightweight with an intuitive quick-disconnect interface, this system improves workflow while eliminating common purge control issues found in traditional hose setups.
At the core of the system is a normally closed quick-disconnect fitting. During part changes or cool-down periods, simply disconnect the hose and argon flow automatically stops. There is no need to shut off the regulator or readjust purge flow when reconnecting, saving time while maintaining consistent purge quality throughout the welding process.
The kit includes a 10-foot Ultra Flex high-PSI braided hose fitted with pre-crimped Rectus Type-20 compatible fittings, delivering durability without sacrificing flexibility. A female QD socket to argon regulator adapter allows compatibility with nearly any argon gas system, making integration quick and seamless.
To further enhance performance and safety, the system includes a Three-pack of QD Shower Head Diffusers. These diffusers are designed to prevent accidental hose disconnection during welding and repositioning, while also promoting controlled argon distribution. Each diffuser is precision-machined from solid CP2 titanium, chosen for its lightweight properties, oxidation resistance, and ability to maintain a clean, contamination-free purge environment inside the weldment.
The QD Shower Head Diffusers are engineered to work with all TIG Aesthetics silicone purge plugs (excluding the 1" tube plug). Installation is simple: remove the mesh diffuser from the plug, insert the fitting through the gas inlet hole from the inside, and reinstall the mesh diffuser.
