Both ends of the hose are equipped with pre-crimped quick-disconnect fittings, with one male QD fitting on one end and a normally closed female QD socket on the other. This configuration eliminates the need for clamps or user assembly while allowing argon flow to automatically shut off when disconnected at the female socket.
